Inpatient Pharmacist Job Full-Time- NJ

Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, has partnered with a respected hospital in coastal New Jersey. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join their esteemed team. This exciting opportunity starts on July 24th and spans a 13-week duration. The shift schedule for this position is the mid shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with five 8-hour shifts and rotating weekends. Responsibilities:
- Perform medication order verification and dispensing functions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
- Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers
- Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for documentation and medication management
- Operate Pyxis cabinets for medication storage and distribution
- Perform additional duties as assigned, based on experience and expertise

Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey (NJ)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Familiarity with EPIC software and Pyxis cabinets
- Hands-on experience with intravenous (IV) medications is highly preferred
- Pediatric patient experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication verification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
