10-Hr Day Shifts - IR Tech Travel Need in Lexington, KY

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for an exciting travel assignment in Lexington, KY! If you're an experienced IR Tech looking to expand your career while working in a dynamic healthcare environment, this opportunity is for you!

Job Details:

• Location: Lexington, KY
• Job Type: Travel, Contract
• Duration: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
• Shift: Variable shifts, possible call requirements
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance.
• Operate fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and other imaging equipment for interventional procedures.
• Prepare and position patients for vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety protocols and maintain sterile technique.
• Monitor patient vitals and provide support during procedures.
• Perform equipment maintenance and quality control checks.

Requirements:

• ARRT certification (R) required, (VI) preferred.
• Kentucky state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Minimum 2 years of recent IR experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Strong knowledge of angiography, vascular access, and embolization procedures.
