Cath Lab Tech Travel Job Available in Birmingham, AL - Flexible Shifts

We are currently seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technologist for a contract assignment in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced cardiovascular environment alongside a skilled team of healthcare professionals.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Birmingham, AL

• Duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension

• Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital

• Shift: Day shift with call rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures

• Operate and monitor specialized imaging equipment during procedures

• Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures

• Maintain sterile technique and assist in inventory control of supplies

• Accurately document procedures and assist with post-procedure care

Requirements:

• ARRT or RCIS certification required

• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)

• Alabama state license (if applicable)

• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in a high-volume cath lab

• Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and cath lab equipment
