About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced traveling pharmacist to join our team for a 13-week assignment in the beautiful coastal town of Fort Bragg, California. As a full-time traveler, you will work day shift hours and be responsible for providing safe and effective medication therapy to our patients.

Fort Bragg is a beautiful coastal town located on the Pacific Ocean in Mendocino County, California. Known for its rugged coastline, stunning beaches, and breathtaking views, Fort Bragg offers plenty of outdoor activities, including hiking, kayaking, and fishing. The area is also home to several vineyards and wineries, making it a great destination for wine lovers.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct dosage and form are administered.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized medication therapy plans.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and make appropriate adjustments to their medication regimen.
• Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to medication use.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Active pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient or outpatient pharmacy experience.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapy, and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
