About the Position:

Our small 80-bed hospital in Wisconsin is seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to join our team for a 13-week assignment. As a full-time traveler, you will work on day shift and be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring the correct dosage and form are administered.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized medication therapy plans.
  • Monitor patients for adverse reactions and make appropriate adjustments to their medication regimen.
  • Provide drug information to healthcare providers and patients as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to medication use.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication safety programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active Wisconsin pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug therapy, and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
