Hiring Special Education Teachers for 2024-2025 School Year

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a supportive learning environment that meets the diverse needs of students with disabilities. This position requires collaboration with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure the success of each student.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various settings, including general education classrooms, special education classrooms, and resource rooms.
• Assess students’ progress and modify teaching strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to develop and maintain effective communication regarding student progress and strategies.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing valuable insights and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and self-advocacy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Experience working with students with diverse disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
