Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education
• Valid NC State Certification for Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, behavior management strategies, and classroom accommodations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, families, and school teams
• Ability to adapt instructional methods and content to meet the needs of all learners
• Passion for supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional growth

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher for a position in Concord, NC. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work with students who require individualized instruction and support, including those with learning disabilities, behavioral disorders, and developmental delays. What You’ll Do:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Provide targeted instruction to students with a wide range of disabilities, in both resource and inclusion settings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a unified support system for students
• Adapt teaching methods, materials, and resources to accommodate students' diverse learning needs
• Assess students' progress regularly and make adjustments to instruction as needed
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEP goals
• Provide behavior interventions and create a positive, structured classroom environment
• Attend IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required
