Job Overview:
As an Order Entry Pharmacy Technician, you will be at the heart of pharmacy operations, ensuring prescriptions are entered swiftly and accurately into the Framework/DocuTrack pharmacy system. Your role will also include providing courteous and professional support to customers over the phone, troubleshooting discrepancies, and collaborating with pharmacy leadership to achieve department goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately enter prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any prescription or patient data discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate input of patient and prescription information.
• Collaborate with the order entry team and leadership to meet operational goals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Active Maryland Pharmacy Technician license (required).
• PTCB/National Certification (preferred).
• 1-2 years of experience in pharmacy operations (long-term care experience preferred; retail candidates with relevant experience considered).
• Familiarity with Frameworks/DocuTrack systems (preferred).
• Strong computer and communication skills, with a team-oriented mindset.
