**Job Opportunity: Special Education Teachers (3 Openings) – Salem, OR | 2024-2025 School Year**

Soliant is seeking passionate and dedicated Special Education (SPED) Teachers to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Salem, OR! We have 3 full-time positions available at local elementary schools. If you are committed to making a difference in students' lives, we encourage you to apply!

### **Position 1: Special Education Teacher (2 Openings – Self-Contained K-2)**
- **Classroom Type**: Self-contained classroom for students in grades K-2
- **Class Size**: 12 students per class
- **Responsibilities**: 
  - Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  - Create a nurturing and structured environment for young learners
  - Collaborate with support staff and parents to ensure students’ academic and social-emotional growth

### **Position 2: Special Education Teacher (1 Opening – Learning Resource)**
- **Classroom Type**: Learning Resource Teacher
- **Caseload**: 25 elementary students
- **Responsibilities**: 
  - Provide small group and individualized instruction to support students with mild to moderate disabilities
  - Manage and update IEPs in coordination with the general education team
  - Support students in both pull-out and push-in settings

### **Qualifications**:
- Must hold or be eligible for Oregon teaching certification with Special Education endorsement
- Prior experience working with elementary-aged students with disabilities preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
