Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher specializing in EC (Exceptional Children) Adapted Curriculum near Davidson County, NC. This full-time position focuses on supporting students with significant cognitive or developmental disabilities, tailoring curriculum and instruction to meet individualized needs.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with significant disabilities.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional methods to ensure accessibility and engagement.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to deliver comprehensive services.
• Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and adjust strategies as needed.
• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding special education.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• North Carolina teaching certification in Special Education, specifically in adapted curriculum.
• Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
