Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) for a travel assignment in Burlington, MA. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by preparing the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies.
• Monitor patients' status throughout surgical procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and surgical interventions.
• Uphold hospital policies and protocols, emphasizing patient safety and infection control.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain one quickly).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent OR nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
• Strong understanding of surgical instruments, procedures, and technology.
• Excellent critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus but not required.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Flexible start based on availability.
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (with the option for extensions).
• Shift: Day or evening shifts, with potential on-call requirements.
