Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Full-Time
Location: Washington, D.C. Area (Onsite)
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:50 AM–4:00 PM
Contract Dates: ASAP–July 27, 2025, including an extended school year. (Next school year begins late August; specific dates TBD.)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate BCBA to join our educational team in the Washington, D.C. area. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing behavior intervention strategies, collaborating with teams, and providing direct support to staff and students. This role is vital in ensuring a supportive and effective learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver behavioral consultation and technical assistance to staff and students as needed.
  • Develop, implement, and train staff on positive behavior support strategies, adaptive skill training, positive reinforcement interventions, and appropriate responses to behaviors of concern.
  • Provide specialized training in TEACCH, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and positive behavior support techniques.
  • Supervise, train, and oversee Behavioral Change Assistants to ensure quality implementation of interventions.
  • Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise on behavioral supports and strategies.
  • Coordinate behavioral support services across programs and classrooms.
  • Offer crisis intervention and behavioral support services promptly when required.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Proven experience in a school-based or educational setting (preferred).
  • Strong skills in ABA, positive behavior interventions, and adaptive skill training.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to lead training sessions and supervise behavioral support staff.
