**Job Description:**

Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives and providing exceptional educational support? We are seeking a dedicated and skilled High School Resource Special Education (SPED) Teacher to join our team in Chepachet, RI for the 2024-2025 school year.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students with various learning challenges.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional methods as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and progress, and prepare reports as required.
- Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters students' academic, social, and emotional growth.

**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Valid Rhode Island Special Education certification.
- Proven experience working with high school students with disabilities.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and professionals.
- Passion for helping students achieve their full potential.
