This registered vascular technologist (RVT) position is in an area known in for its history, beauty and culture. Known for its bright lights and movie stars, the vast majority of the state is dominated by farms, forests, rivers, mountains and lakes. New York has several state parks and two major forest preserves. Adirondack Park is the largest state park in the United States. Montauk Point State Park boasts the famous Montauk Lighthouse, and The Catskill Park operates numerous campgrounds and there are over 300 miles of multi-use trails in the park. NY has acres of parks and miles of public beaches. These include the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge, Prospect Park, Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, and the most visited park in the United States, Central Park.
New York is also home to the Buffalo Bills, The New York Yankees and the New York Mets. It also has several hockey teams such as the New York Rangers, the New York Islanders and the Buffalo Sabres. The New York Knicks is based in Manhattan, while the New Jersey Nets are scheduled to move into Brooklyn in the near future.

Central Park SummerStage presents performances of free plays and music in Central Park.

The vascular technologist’s duties include performing procedures, coordinating staff and patient schedules to ensure compliance with JCAHO, ACR and ICAVL standards. This position is responsible for all record keeping requirements of an accredited lab. Individual must be a team player with excellent communication skills as well as exceptional patient care skills. RVT Certification required. Minimum of 2-5 years in an accredited lab with minimum of 1 years experience as a clinical supervisor is required.
